a synonym for abreast

take to heart?

or is that just a space between

all long spring converse

my muffled pillowed words

listen to your life and holding

chest and

extend my hand

as if to children fallen in holes

had I not stretched enough -

I was not still enough

as days

launched flight

did I not reach?

each we pull bows taunt

release riddles
